Parade Float Ideas for End of School Parades

Posted by paradefloats on May 13, 2011

Celebrate the end of the school year with a parade full of floats from different school organizations, clubs, alumni, and staff. There’s something for everyone, so get those creative juices flowing!

Graduation Floats for Seniors
A graduation float seems fitting for the senior class! Load up on graduation party supplies and decorate your hearts out. Tie down tons of graduation balloons so everyone knows how proud you are. String graduation hanging swirls from one side to the other and be sure to grab some confetti to throw out at the crowd.

Athletics Floats
Sports clubs, teams, or cheerleaders may want to decorate their floats using big game decorations. Nothing would be more fun than to ride that float and making a cacophony of noise using noisemakers and waving cheer poms. What would you throw to the crowd? Mini sports balls, of course!

Alumni Floats
Your school’s alumni will have fun on their float that they decorate with reunion party supplies. To achieve that old school effect, hang a reunion banner in the school colors from one side and blast straight into the past with fun retro decorations. Hang a plastic mirror ball from the top and a use double disco ball on the floor. For added fun wear retro wearables when you spread the peace and love by throwing heart shaped peace sign bracelets.

You don’t have to be super creative or spend lots of cash to have a fabulous float for your school’s parade! Check out all that Shindigz has to offer you, get inspired just by browsing, and create something simply unique.
